Novo Surgical’s Kay Aortic Anastomosis Clamp is designed for use in some cardiothoracic surgeries. This clamp has a wide variety of uses but is mainly created to function as a side-biting clamp specifically of the ascending aorta. It is ideally suited for use in saphenous vein by-pass procedures. Additionally, this instrument features ring handles that allow a comfortable and easily maneuverable grip as well as hook shaped jaws that can be stably affixed to a vessel or even a gut loop during anastomotic connections.
