Novo Surgical’s Finochietto Infant Rib Spreader-Approximator is a highly versatile instrument for infant cardiothoracic surgeries. This spreader-approximator is a multi purpose tool that can be used to separate the ribs to allow access to the surgical field by using the windowed lip blades. Uniquely, this instrument can also be used as an approximator to bring the ribs back to closure by utilizing the pointed hooks on the tip of each arm.
